Educational and Leadership Journey
Pastor Harris Kapiga is a scholar with diverse academic training that has enabled him to make meaningful contributions to society. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and Public Administration, Master’s Degree in Community Economic Development, Bachelor’s Degree in Theology and Christian Leadership, Honorary Degree for Impacting Society through Encouragement, Diploma in Journalism, a Diploma in Biblical Studies, a Diploma in Christian Leadership, and a Diploma in Public Leadership in Science and Politics, a field that equips him with the knowledge and perspective to understand and support community development initiatives.
Pastoral Calling and Ministry
Pastor Kapiga officially began his pastoral ministry on November 11, 2000, and since then he has devoted his life to preaching the Gospel and providing spiritual guidance to many.
His spiritual journey began early in life through the influence of his family. His grandfather, Mzee Kapiga, was a pastor, and this foundation helped shape his Christian faith from a young age.
While studying at Azania Secondary School in 1989, he began to feel a deeper calling to serve God. During this time, he attended religious classes at school and later received water baptism at Pentecostal Church Azania in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.
He was baptized by Bishop Philipo Tibanenasoni, and later prayed over and anointed by Pastor Silvester Gamanywa, a significant moment that affirmed his spiritual calling and commitment to ministry.
In 1994, as his calling became clearer, Pastor Kapiga joined Youth With A Mission (YWAM) for ministry training. He later continued his theological studies at the Biblical Study College in Uganda, strengthening his foundation in Christian leadership and ministry.

Service in Education
Before fully dedicating himself to ministry and broadcasting, Pastor Kapiga also contributed significantly to the education sector.
Between 2003 and 2004, he worked as a volunteer teacher in secondary schools, particularly mentoring students living in hostels at Jangwani and Tambaza Secondary Schools in Dar es Salaam.
He also played a role in teaching the Word of God in primary schools, focusing on building strong moral values and spiritual foundations among young students.

Broadcasting Career
In addition to his pastoral work, Pastor Kapiga has made a remarkable impact in Tanzania’s broadcasting industry.
His broadcasting career began in 2001 at Radio Tanzania Dar es Salaam (RTD) after completing his journalism studies. There, he gained practical training and later secured a position as a radio presenter.
He worked at RTD from 2001 to 2002, before briefly returning to his earlier work in teaching.
Later, he joined Praise Power Radio, where he served for several months, further building his experience in broadcasting and media communication.
In 2010, Pastor Kapiga joined Clouds FM Radio as a radio presenter. After three years, he also began working with Clouds Television as a news anchor and he has 25years in the media industry Currently working with Clouds Media Group as Tv News Anchor, where he hosts and participates in several programs, including:

Through these platforms, he continues to inspire many people on matters of faith, life, and community development.
