IN LOVING MEMORY OF JUNIOR
A Life Cherished, A Light Never Forgotten
With profound sorrow and deep reverence, we share the heartbreaking news of the passing of JUNIOR, the beloved son of Sister Gloria Temba of Dallas, Texas, and Brother Dickson Makongoro.
On Saturday, February 21, 2026 (Dallas time), JUNIOR peacefully departed this life at Cook Children's Hospital in the Dallas–Fort Worth area. He had been admitted to the ICU following a swimming pool accident that occurred on February 13. From that day forward, prayers rose continuously, hope stood courageously, and faith remained unshaken. Yet in God’s divine wisdom, JUNIOR was called home.
Though young in years, JUNIOR’s life carried a depth of love that many spend decades trying to achieve. He was a precious gift a son whose presence brought joy, whose smile carried innocence, and whose spirit radiated warmth. In his quiet strength, he reminded us that every breath is sacred and every moment is a blessing.
In seasons of grief, wisdom teaches us that while we cannot question God’s timing, we can honor the beauty of the life given. JUNIOR’s story does not end in sorrow; it continues in the hearts of those who loved him, in the unity of family, and in the faith that sustains us beyond understanding.
A Comfort Service for the family will be held on Friday, February 27, at 7:00 PM. Rev. Dr. Absalom Nasuwa will lead this sacred gathering, offering words of encouragement, strength, and spiritual consolation during this painful time.
The Memorial Service will take place on March 7th at 1:00 PM at First Celina Baptist Church. This service will celebrate JUNIOR’s life a life brief yet deeply meaningful and will bring together family, friends, and the community in remembrance and hope.
As a community, we stand beside Sister Gloria Temba and Brother Dickson Makongoro in prayer and solidarity. May God wrap them in His everlasting arms, grant them comfort beyond human understanding, and fill their hearts with peace that endures.
JUNIOR may have left this earthly world, but his light will never fade.
