Sensei Fundi began his Karate training in late 70s at Zanaki Jundokan dojo, at time under the assistance of Sensei Nantambu Camara Bomani’s senior student Shihan Daud Magoma Nyamuko who was the Chief assistant to sensei Bomani. Sensei Fundi joined the kids class at the dojo that was known as “Bomani Brigade” or simply “BB”. Sensei Bomani was the pioneer who introduced Karate and Jundokan to Tanzania in 1973 and was direct student of master Eiichi Miyazato who founded Jundokan 1957. Master Eiichi Miyazato was a student of Master Chojun Miyagi, the founder of Okinawa Goju Ryu Karate.
